Privacy Policy

Herringbone Construction uses a private operations platform called Giant Squid to manage authorized business workflows. This policy explains how that platform handles information, including information received through Google services.
Information we process
- Google account identity needed to verify the authorized account.
- Read-only Gmail messages and attachments routed to the Giant Squid intake workflow.
- Google Drive and Google Sheets files used for internal estimates and supporting project records.
- Google Calendar availability and event details needed to check conflicts, create appointments, and verify those appointments.
- Business, customer, project, and source-evidence information supplied to Herringbone Construction.
How information is used
Information is used only to operate requested Herringbone Construction workflows, preserve source evidence, prepare internal records, prevent duplicates, schedule appointments, and verify completed actions. Google account data is not sold or used for advertising.
Service providers and disclosure
Herringbone Construction uses contracted infrastructure and processing providers only as needed to host Giant Squid, store private records, and perform requested extraction or transcription. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the service.
Storage, security, and retention
Access is limited to authorized HB personnel. Sensitive credentials are stored as protected deployment secrets or encrypted server-side records, and are not exposed to ordinary browser users. Operational information is retained only for legitimate business, audit, legal, and project-record purposes, then removed when it is no longer required.
Google API data
Giant Squid's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Access is requested only for the specific Gmail, Drive/Sheets, identity, and Calendar functions used by the platform.
You may review or revoke Google access through your Google Account security settings. Revoking access may stop the related Giant Squid workflow from functioning.
